Charlotte's New Tricks

She's four months old now and can roll over (and over and over) and hold her head up really well. She's pulling her knees up under her too, but I keep knocking them down. Don't need another one running around the house just yet.

Down On The Farm

Last weekend we went out to Chinchilla for the bi-annual Watermellon Festival. We didn't see much of the festival but we saw lots of cows, rode the 4wheelies and a horse or two. Alex is convinced that all cows are boy cows. Bill tried to tell him that cows are girls and bulls are boys but it was all too complicated for his three-year-old brain.

Bedtime Stories

Alex has been reading stories to us all day from his favourite book 'Junior Sudoku'. He says its a funny story about numbers.

Clever Boy

If he dosn't make it as a doctor, lawyer or engineer, Alex could always be a circus clown!

Little Miss Have-A-Chat

Charlotte has already figured out that if she wants to have an opinion in our house she'd better learn to talk - and quick! She loves having a chat and sometimes I hear her talking to herself in her car seat while we drive around. Today she was talking to Alex while he read stories to her - Wiggles stories, of course.

I Love Summer

We had a bit of fun in the back yard with Alex. It started as a water pistol fight and everyone ended up soaked. Never let a three year old handle the hose.

This Is Fun Mummy

Today we went to a water park by the beach. Those big blue things in the background are whales that spurt water out of their blow holes and soak anyone within a one hundred mile radius. The kids had a ball.

Size Does Matter

Alex's water pistol is way bigger than mine and he showed no mercy when I ran out of water. He has surprisingly good aim for a 3 year old. Mind you, his target was rather large and slow-moving.

Building Sandcastles
